*Hybrid in Milwaukee, WI*

Our client is looking for a Product Systems Analyst. The Product Sytems Analyst is responsible for configuring and maintaining life insurance and annuity products within the company's policy administration system. This includes setting up product plans, rules, rate tables, and related system logic to ensure accurate policy issuance, billing, and administration. The role works closely with product, actuarial, operations, and IT teams to implement new products, support in-force changes, and ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements.

This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert to FTE following contract duration. Rate: $60 - $70 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Configure life and annuity product plans, rules, benefits, and rate tables in the policy administration system (PAS).
  • Collaborate with actuarial and product teams to interpret product specifications and translate them into system logic.
  • Validate and test configuration changes to ensure accurate calculations of premiums, benefits, riders, and illustrations.
  • Maintain documentation of product setup, configuration changes, and version control.
  • Support implementation of new product launches and modifications to existing products.
  • Troubleshoot system issues related to product configuration and provide resolution in coordination with IT and vendor teams.
  • Ensure product configurations align with business rules, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Assist in quality assurance testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) for product-related system changes.
  • Participate in system upgrades or conversions impacting product setup.


Experience Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in life insurance and/or annuity product setup, configuration, or administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of policy administration systems (e.g., ALIP, Vantage, LifeComm, CoreSuite, or similar).
  • Understanding of insurance product structures, including term, whole life, UL, and annuity products.
  • Proficiency with Excel; familiarity with reading actuarial specs, rates, and formulas.
  • Experience with system testing, defect tracking, and configuration documentation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.


Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, or related field preferred.
