Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Scrum Master in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with product owner and technical architects to define, groom, and prioritize scope, negotiating budget constraints
* Track projects against budgets, report on forecasts and variances, and coordinate actions to stay on or under budget
* Support business planning and assist in developing new project concepts and estimates
* Plan and track execution, maintaining contact with all project partner groups
* Supervise deliverables of other teams and manage impacts to squad deliverables
* Track project actuals against milestones and adjust plans as needed
* Translate cross-team dependencies into concrete plans
* Communicate between project teams and partners to ensure alignment
* Identify, document, and manage risks and issues, planning for mitigation and escalating to management as needed
* Resolve and follow up on issues promptly
* Lead and inspire through effective team management
* Assist with planning and executing the Release Management process
* Work with Product Owners to groom Product and Release Backlogs for the next Sprint
* Track team commitments, Story Points, and calculate team Velocity and Sprint/Release Burndowns
* Determine the best approach for project implementation (Scrum, Scrum-ban, Kanban, etc.)
* Apply Agile tools, techniques, principles, and values to the squad
* Assist Product Owner and squad in maintaining a prioritized backlog with refined user stories
* Balance delivery timeframes and continuous iteration to incorporate customer feedback
* Supervise the JIRA board and track story status towards completion
* Follow up with team members to ensure statuses are up to date and stories are commented on appropriately
* Resolve blockers and escalate as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred, or equivalent experience; Project management certification preferred
* A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of professional Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Project Management experience including project Initiation, Planning, Tracking, Delivery and Closure
* Experience in Agile Development, with Scrum Master (or similar) experience; Scrum Master certification preferred
* Experience in managing large cross-functional teams, across multiple time zones
* Experience with projects relating to Salesforce Application
* Experience with HP PPM, Jira, or other project management tools
* Experience with third-party vendors a plus
* Previous financial corporation experience a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
