Description

We are seeking a professional for the role of a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, United States. The selected candidate will be leading Agile teams in the telecom industry, driving the adoption of Agile principles, and ensuring successful project delivery. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate Scrum events, remove impediments and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within Agile teams.
Coach and mentor team members on Agile methodologies, empowering them to deliver high-quality products and services.
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and refine the product backlog to align with project goals and objectives.
Monitor team performance and progress, identify opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance team effectiveness.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and other project stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
Conduct regular retrospectives and reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for improvement, driving the team's continuous improvement efforts.
Ensure that Agile principles and practices are consistently applied across the organization, promoting a culture of agility and innovation.
Oversee Release Management and deployment of stable releases, ensuring teams follow due diligence for release deployments.
Assist in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities alongside Business stakeholders and Release Management teams.
Collaborate closely with relevant parties to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Facilitate discussions and gather necessary information to drive effective resolutions.

Requirements

Proficiency in project management and consultancy roles
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for team collaboration and stakeholder management
Comprehensive understanding of Agile Scrum practices, including backlog grooming and retrospectives
Demonstrated experience with engineering practices and deployments
Ability to drive continuous improvement and innovation within the team
Proficiency in using project management tools such as JIRA
Experience in onsite professional development and due diligence activities
Advanced knowledge in Computer Sciences
Ability to monitor project progress and ensure quality standards are met
Experience in release process management
Ability to use collaboration tools such as 'Join Me'
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders and resolve issues
Proven track record as a ScrumMaster.
