Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for an SDET Engineer, W2, a contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!

Candidates should be willing to work on our W2 ONLY, NO C2C

Job Title: Software Engineer-SDET

Role Type: W2 only

Duration:12 months

Locations: Saint Louis, MO

Technical Skills: Looking for SDET who can quickly learn the scope of business to design, develop and maintain an automation test harness.

- Strong coding, analytical and design skills

- Ability to code in C# .NET and Angular

Job Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may:

Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables.

Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Software Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering.

Experience with:


  • writing unit tests using mock framework
  • API E2E testing tools like Karate and Rest assured
  • developing automation test cases using Selenium or Playwright
  • integrating CICD tools (Jenkins/Harness) with automation framework
  • Co-pilo for accelerating tests creation, enhancing instructions template
  • setting up in-memory database (H2) for automation harness
  • developing automation scripts for APIGEE end points
  • SDLC compliance in testing documentation and artifacts (including creating testing traceability matrix, manual test cases writing)
  • implementing and utilizing test management tool like Octane
  • load testing tools like JMeter/Blaze meter will be a plus but not mandatory
  • BDD software development methodology
  • developing test automation scripts using messaging systems

Required Qualifications

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
