Job Description
The Worker will work with DFPS s data teams and programs to conduct data analysis and remediation activities. Services include but are not limited to conducting data quality analysis on DFPS system data, identifying data anomalies in systems, guiding data remediation/cleansing activities, and providing progress reports to DFPS.
These efforts are expected to result in a robust, secure, and efficient data foundation that will support case management and decision-making processes within the DFPS child welfare and adult protection programs. The data analysis and remediation activities shall also align with DFPS s compliance with federal and state regulations and its goal of providing uninterrupted services to the children and families it serves.
The Data Analyst assesses data quality by profiling, analysis and identification of data issues. Provides insights into the data health and support cleanup strategies. Design and implement data quality rules and processes. Ensures that cleansed data meets quality standards and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform data profiling to uncover data issues and translate to cleansing tasks.
- Design and automate processes to identify and validate data issues in collaboration with SMEs.
- Design and automate monitoring of ongoing data quality and cleanup activity.
- Generate data quality assessment and weekly statistical reports.
- Conduct root cause analysis for data anomalies.
- Define data quality rules and cleansing strategies.
