Position Summary:
Our partner, a global organization undergoing a major HR system upgrade, is looking to add a Technical Training Writer to join their project team. As Technical Training Writer you will be responsible for creating clear, step-by-step training content that helps employees and managers adopt new digital workflows with confidence. You will work closely with change management and project leads, you ll capture workflows from subject matter experts, build simulations and job aids, and create concise presentations that support adoption across a global audience. The ideal person will have a strong background in technical writing and training content development, with the ability to maintain accuracy while keeping materials user-friendly. We are looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative individual, eager to build engaging content that supports a successful global rollout.
Experience and Education:
  • BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Arts or equivalent experience/field
  • 4+ years of experience developing training materials for enterprise system implementations or upgrades
  • Created simulations, process flows, and job aids from SME walkthroughs
  • Partnered with HR, IT, or business stakeholders during change initiatives
  • Supported user acceptance testing and refined content through feedback cycles
  • Managed content libraries and document standards within a large organization
  • Prior exposure to HRIS platforms, SuccessFactors experience is a plus

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Translate SME walkthroughs into clear, step-by-step documentation
  • Build training simulations and job aids using approved tools and templates
  • Create presentations and process visuals that support user adoption
  • Manage content in SharePoint with consistent formatting and version control
  • Update training materials quickly during UAT and feedback cycles
  • Work daily with change management and HRIS teams to scope and review deliverables
  • Support train-the-trainer logistics by preparing decks, job aids, and process flows for facilitators
  • Incorporate regional variations into global training materials
  • Track progress against module and project milestones
  • Communicate proactively with project leads and SMEs about gaps or risks
  • Maintain clarity and consistency across all training content, while keeping it accessible, concise, and aligned with company standards
