A leading organization in Washington D.C. is currently seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) for an exciting opportunity in the Federal Government sector. About the Opportunity:

- Setting: Federal Government projects
Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing robust security architectures for cloud-based applications
- Conducting risk assessments and vulnerability analyses
- Developing security policies and procedures conforming to federal regulations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate security into system architectures
- Conducting regular audits and monitoring activities to ensure compliance
Qualifications:
- 8 years of experience in information security
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- CISSP or GSLC certification
- Proficiency with ISSE, Cloud, SaaS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies
Desired Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in the security domain
- Master's degree in IT or related field
- Additional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Experience with advanced threat detection tools
- Strong leadership and project management skills
