Location: North Chesterfield, VA - Onsite

Description:

The incumbent will analyze complex agency and criminal justice policies, processes and computer systems, and will use this information to evaluate automated and manual processes, staff workloads, skills, training needs and other factors to improve efficiency, accuracy and customer services. In addition will:

Research state laws, policies and processes, in partnership with agency legal staff, management and staff to ensure that staff and persons eligible to receive agency services are accurately informed.

Lead the implementation of policies, processes and computer systems.

Apply organizational change management practices, with an emphasis on effective communications, building stakeholder trust and measuring performance with a focus on improving operational performance and customer services.

Plan, coordinate and conduct communications with customers and other stakeholders as part of a larger effort to improve customer services and to roll out new agency services.

Plan and coordinate the creation of public websites and other media, in partnership with agency public relations staff, to inform the public about agency services.

Perform other duties as assigned.

The person selected for this position will work full-time onsite at agency Headquarters, North Chesterfield, VA 23235. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, excluding state holidays.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Advanced computer skills are required that aligns with the Job Description. In addition, strong analytical skills; ability to create and manage project schedules; ability to research state laws and policies; experience with organizational change management; customer relations skills; good verbal and written communication skills; ability to manage several projects simultaneously; and proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook).
