There's currently a Desktop Support Tech position available with a client in St. Paul Park, MN. This will be 100% on-site and the client is looking for someone to come in and provide steady state desktop support while their support team upgrades their environment to Windows 11. Could potentially be a long term opportunity, but right now they need support for about 3 months.
Description
The PC and general hardware support technician will provide comprehensive computer hardware and infrastructure support for the company.
Top 3:
Primary responsibilities will include:
Resolving service desk tickets
Direct customer support and on-going technology maintenance for the business environment.
The individual should be a self-starter with the ability to effectively and consistently communicate directly with customers and peers.
Installs, maintains and supports all the field IT systems. Includes desktop and laptop computer hardware, Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and configuration
Supports software installation, network and stand-alone printers, remote access, audio visual equipment, mobile devices support, Cisco telephones, radios, server computer hardware.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities and time.
Strong people skills and ability to communicate effectively.
Confidence in technical skills and ability to apply them.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $32.00/hr.
