Job Details
The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing enterprise-level programs and/or multiple projects. This role involves close collaboration with various project stakeholders to define teams and assign roles. The Program Manager will create a unified view of the program and manage key deliverables such as timelines, cross-project dependencies, risk assessments, stakeholder coordination, and consistent status reporting.
Key responsibilities include leading process development at the program level and managing strategic, high-risk, high-impact initiatives across diverse, cross-functional teams of technologists and business professionals. Success in this role requires the ability to communicate effectively with varied audiences, utilize escalation processes appropriately, and provide updates to executive leadership.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of relevant program management experience in a technology setting, ideally within a large organization
At least 1 year in a leadership role on a small to mid-sized Agile team applying Scrum methodologies
3+ years of experience managing multidisciplinary technology initiatives within a large, matrixed organization
Strong strategic planning, critical thinking, and process management capabilities
Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies, particularly Agile and Lean
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to drive business outcomes
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills; effective across a broad range of teams and stakeholders
Familiarity with Jira/Confluence, Agile, Cloud, DevOps, Data Management, and SaaS/PaaS
Preferred:
PMI, Scrum Alliance, or similar certifications in Program Management, Project Management, or Scrum Master roles
1 year of Scrum Master experience on a software or product development team applying Scrum principles and practices
