Job Summary
Description:
We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in F5 load balancing, Apigee API management, and Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services including CKE and Spanner. This role will focus on setting up secure and scalable API traffic flows and implementing chaos testing to ensure system resilience.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement F5 load balancers across APIs between Apigee and GKE service layers.
Collaborate with development and platform teams to integrate F5 with Apigee for secure and efficient API traffic management.
Set up and manage chaos testing frameworks targeting CKE workloads and Cloud Spanner to validate fault tolerance and system reliability.
Develop automation scripts for chaos experiments and infrastructure validation.
Monitor system performance during chaos tests and provide insights for improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to F5, Apigee, CKE, Spanner, and other Google Cloud Platform services.
Maintain documentation for configurations, test results, and operational procedures.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Private Service Connect and secure service-to-service communication in CCP.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Helm).
CCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Cloud DevOps Engineer)
Required Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with F5 load balancer setup and configuration.
Strong understanding of Apigee API Gateway and its integration with backend services.
Experience deploying and managing workloads in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
Familiarity with Google Cloud Spanner and distributed database concepts.
Knowledge of chaos engineering principles and tools (e.g., Chaos Monkey, LitmusChaos, Chaos Mesh).
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation and testing.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
