Job Description:
The Customer Service IT team is seeking an experienced Salesforce Vlocity Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions using Salesforce Industries (Vlocity). This strategic role is critical to supporting customer service transformation initiatives by delivering solutions that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex Salesforce Vlocity solutions, including OmniStudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors), Integration Procedures, and Industry Console.
Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions leveraging Salesforce Industries capabilities.
Work with stakeholders, business analysts, and development teams to design scalable and maintainable architectures.
Establish and enforce Salesforce best practices and Vlocity configuration standards.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure alignment with broader IT strategies.
Support end-to-end project lifecycle: discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Lead performance tuning and optimization for large-scale customer-facing applications.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce platform architecture.
3+ years of experience with Salesforce Industries (Vlocity).
Deep expertise in OmniStudio tools: FlexCards, OmniScripts, Integration Procedures, DataRaptors, and Calculation Matrices.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, APEX, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Integration (REST/SOAP APIs).
Proven track record of leading Salesforce implementation projects from architecture to delivery.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Preferred:
Utility or regulated industry experience, especially related to customer service or field service transformation.
Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, or legacy CIS platforms.
Working knowledge of DevOps tools for Salesforce (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Jenkins).
Certifications Required:
Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer
Salesforce Certified Industries CPQ Developer
Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II
(Optional but Preferred) Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA)
