Job Title: Data Management Lead

Location: Remote

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Implement and oversee data management and governance (DM&G) policies and standards for a portfolio of LOB initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for DM&G capabilities and ensure delivery across various initiatives within the organization.
  • Collaborate with DM&G engagement leaders, business and technology partners, data quality analysts, and data stewards to ensure standardization and alignment with business goals.
  • Identify requirements for technical DM&G roadmaps, focusing on opportunities for automation and self-service enablement.
  • Socialize requirements for implementing DM&G across assigned portfolio initiatives and adapt to emerging technologies and policies.
  • Utilize existing technology to perform data management capabilities and inform technical requirements for innovation.
  • Provide tools and templates to project teams to simplify DM&G standards implementation, including metadata information, business glossary, and data classification.
  • Prioritize the implementation of DM&G standards within the business area and handle other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 7-10 years of related work experience in data management and governance.
  • Strong leadership skills to influence and drive cultural change for data governance adoption.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to keep governance implementation aligned with changing business priorities.
  • In-depth understanding of data management tools, including business glossary, metadata lineage, and master data management.
  • Proficiency in project management, bringing together diverse teams to deliver solutions.
  • Experience in SDLC and agile delivery models.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to form partnerships with stakeholders.
  • Experience in setting up and operationalizing governance implementation.

Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in data governance tools such as Collibra is highly desired.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with data quality processes and standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies and data integration processes.
  • Capability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.

The base salary range for this position is $ 109,749 - $164,623 , plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies. Benefits available to eligible employees in this role include medical, dental, and vision insurance, comprehensive employee assistance program, 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off and holidays.
