Genesis10 is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst for our client in the financial services industry. This 7 month + contract position is in St. Peterburg, FL . Hybrid schedule.

W2 Hourly Pay rate range: $75-$80 hr

W2 Status:
Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.

Description:
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be part of a dynamic team and serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide solutions to meet user needs. This position is within the technology group and will be based out of our corporate Headquarters in St. Petersburg, FL. Our client's Information Technology vision is in parallel with the firm's vision. Responsibilities:
  • Adheres to established standards and maintains currency in business analysis practices, procedures and techniques.
  • Balances conflicting resource and priority demands.
  • Consults with users to identify, analyze, refine and document business requirements.
  • Develops and maintains project schedules and produces project reports and documentation.
  • Develops conceptual design documents, including project definition, alternative solutions, scope of work, functional specifications and logical skeletons for new systems.
  • Develops recommendations for enterprise-wide productivity and quality improvements, including business process re-engineering.
  • Follows up with internal clients about completed tasks to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Identifies requirements for testing, develops test plans and scripts and coordinates test transmissions, as required. Tests software.
  • Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability.
  • Plans, assigns, monitors and leads the work of others.
  • May prepare project proposals and project plans.
  • Reviews operational procedures and methods; maps current business processes; defines and analyzes business activities; identifies best practices; and recommends improvements.
  • Reviews performance and evaluates results achieved by project teams.
  • Trains, coaches and mentors others.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS or related degree and five (5) years of experience in technical business analysis or combination of education, training and experience.
  • Experience creating process Controls and subsequent Testing and Monitoring is required.
  • May work in a team environment or project room to facilitate collaboration.
  • Business Analysis tools: Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Viso, and Team Foundation Server), Smartsheet, and Basic database query skills.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with Integrated Risk Management platforms such as IBM OpenPages, RSA Archer, ServiceNow, Wdesk, etc. is preferred.
  • Financial Services experience is strongly preferred.
