Job Description
ECS is seeking a Scrum Master to work in our Arlington, VA office with a proven track record of strong problem solving and troubleshooting, to support one of our mission critical programs for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) .
As Scrum Master you will lead a technical team through all sprints of a program increment, removing impediments and championing the team. The Scrum Master will o rganize and facilitate sprint planning and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other A gile related events utilizing Jira , and in the effort of managing the team's cadence and increasing team velocity .
In addition, the S crum M aster will t rack and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to all teams and stakeholder groups , while driv ing u pdates to the Jira tracking system in the effort to maximize transparency , provide optimal guidance to product owners on product and sprint backlo g and promote continuous improvement . The Scrum Master will also act as a team tester and documentation specialist.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree .
- A minimum of five (5) years of concurrent experience in project and program management including:
- At least three (3) years of experience managing IT projects and programs.
- At least five (5) years of experience in coaching multiple A gile teams.
- Proven experience as a scrum master , leveraging KANBAN/SCRUMBAN methods.
- Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification OR PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
- Proven experience with managing using Dev Ops concepts.
- Proven experience with Agile Reporting techniques.
- Proven experience in improving Work -In - Progress (WIP) Management.
- Experience with Atlassian Agile Products; specifically, JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience leading Agile Scrum teams.

- Strong understanding of IT concepts and technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of systems engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
