Lead Data Engineer

Typical Day in the Role

• I Will be meeting with employee for first few weeks to make comfortable and then monitor the work week-to-week basis
• Understand data extract requirements from the data analysts
• Build ETL processes Snowflake and Teradata to achieve the desired result
• Analyze the data set requested for and report any data quality or observations with the third-party entity and internal team
• Write complex SQLs to analyze data sets for various standard extracts
• Understand complex data mappings to find issues and help developers to fix the same
• Best candidates will have the must have experience plus Datawarehouse background with cloud tools or Talend/Informatica ETL
• Opportunity to work on cutting edge technologies like Snowflake, Cloud in the Healthcare industry to make a real difference to the people in need
• Performance: Ability to work independently after six weeks of tenure and familiarity with Centene systems.

Candidate Requirements

• Required: Bachelor's degree
• Years of experience required: 5+ Years of Teradata/Snowflake SQL experience
• Disqualifiers: Without any SQL experience
• Additional qualities to look for: Talend/Informatica ETL or Datawarehouse background with Cloud tools.

• Excellent Analytical skills with sound SQL and ETL knowledge
• Problem solving nature with Data experience preferably in HealthCare
• Owning and delivering the project end to end with minimal help
