Designs, executes, and interprets synthetic organic experiments with a high degree of reliability, independence, and attention to detail
Proficient in application and utility of a variety of analytical tools (NMR, HPLC, LCMS, Biotage) to monitor and analyze experiments

This role will support drug substance development programs at Company performing
synthetic organic chemistry in the laboratory at a high level to design and execute
syntheses of challenging compounds, troubleshoot a diverse range of chemistry issues
and devise corrective solutions, and analyze complex data sets that leads to clear
conclusion or recommendations to guide the synthetic decision. In addition, the
individual is expected to work both independently and in a matrix team environment.
Key Responsibilities

Designs, executes, and interprets synthetic organic experiments with a high
degree of reliability, independence, and attention to detail
Proficient in application and utility of a variety of analytical tools (NMR, HPLC,
LCMS, Biotage) to monitor and analyze experiments
Generate effective hypotheses to pursue synthesis goals and set new experimental
direction
Multitask to execute multiple experiments in an efficient manner
Makes conceptual contributions to development activities and scientific strategies
Develops novel and creative solutions to overcome synthetic and manufacturing
obstacles
Employs new principles and technologies to promote progress in the synthesis
Maintains accurate records of experiments and results in a laboratory notebook
and authors reports as assigned
Draft, review and submit required documentation pertaining to the development
and preparation of drug substances under cGMP environment
Be familiar with SOPs and GMPs and ensure compliance with all applicable
regulations and SOPs
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Perform other duties as assigned
