Job Title: Senior/Lead Data Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (including data scientists, analysts, and business teams) to define data requirements, processing needs, and analytics solutions.
- Create and sustain scalable data models and efficient extraction processes.
- Establish and monitor data quality checks and validation systems.
- Construct and enhance business intelligence dashboards.
- Produce comprehensive documentation for data models and processes.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and ad-hoc requests.
- Drive continuous improvement in data practices and visualization techniques.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of proven experience in database engineering and software development.
- Advanced skills in SQL for complex query development and database management.
- Strong Python programming skills for automation and data processing workflows.
- Ability to handle large-scale data processing tasks using Spark.
- Knowledge of data visualization tools, Qlik is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (Glue and Athena desired).
- Growth mindset with enthusiasm to learn new technologies.
