IT Support Specialist (PC Support & Business Central Support)



Location: Torrance, CA

Duration: Permanent-Full Time position



Description:

The position of IT Specialist will provide support while maintaining the integrity of all computer workstations and

associated systems.



IT Support

Builds and maintains detailed ticketing system and record system for all IT related activities

Provides technical support for hardware and software issues; provides recommendations and solutions in a

timely manner

Installs, configures, and maintains computer systems and network

Collaborates internally to understand IT needs; researches and provides solutions for Management review

and approval

Submits purchase requisition forms for approval, purchases equipment, software, etc.

Regularly assesses network security and data protection, identifies weaknesses, researches and provides

solutions to Management

Works with Management and outside vendors with technical aspects and maintenance of internal cameras and security systems

Maintains all files, manuals and administrative data pertaining to network and IT infrastructure, aids

Management with sensitive materials

Documents internal procedures and creates user guides for training purposes

Evaluates vendor performance, researches and recommends alternative solutions as necessary

Logs any work done by outside vendors, integrates strategies into day-to-day operations internally

Stays up to date with the latest technological trends and best practices

Other projects and duties as assigned



ERP Support

Builds and maintains detailed ticketing system and record system for all ERP related activities

Administrate and troubleshoots day-to-day issues with Business Central

Collaborates internally with development requests and provides feedback to Management; conducts training

as necessary

Works with outside vendors and Management on design, testing, and implementation of new system

customizations and solutions

Communicates with outside vendors regarding requests and obtains quotes and negotiates when necessary;

sends contact information to Management for review and approval

Other projects and duties as assigned



OTHER & MISCELLANEOUS

Seeks constant improvement and more efficient means in work processes.

Maintains good communication with Management, office staff members, and outside contacts.

Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties assigned by Management to support organizational

growth.

Maintains high ethical standards in the workplace.

Reports all irregular issues and problems to Management for solutions.

Complies with all company policies and procedures.



Education Experience

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from four-year

college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.



Work Experience

Minimum 2-3 years in IT role required

Must have working knowledge of Business Central

Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software

Familiarity with operating systems and platforms

Bilingual Japanese/English a plus but not required
