Job Title: Senior ALM Lead Developer
Location: Boston, Massachusetts; Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)
Duration/Term: Long-Term Contract


Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Senior ALM Lead Developer with deep expertise in JAMA Connect, Velocity scripting, and regulatory-compliant systems for the medical device industry. This role involves leading configuration, integration, validation, and automation of design control, risk, and requirement management workflows using advanced scripting and tooling.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead configuration and deployment of JAMA Connect across requirements, test, and risk modules
  • Leverage Velocity scripting to customize JAMA workflows, fields, reports, and dashboards
  • Integrate JAMA with other ALM tools using JCI and REST APIs
  • Collaborate with engineering and compliance teams to establish Design Control processes within JAMA
  • Perform tool validation activities to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and requirements
  • Configure and enforce risk management frameworks (FMEA, mitigation tracking) within JAMA
  • Support and optimize usage of DOORS 9.0 (Classic) and Confluence for documentation and traceability
  • Conduct system-level troubleshooting, data mapping, and cross-tool integrations
  • Document configuration strategies and provide user support, training, and knowledge sharing


Must-Have Skills:

  • 7-10 years of ALM / Requirements Management experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with JAMA Connect, including Velocity script development
  • Working knowledge of DOORS 9 (Classic) and Confluence
  • Demonstrated expertise in design control implementation and validation
  • Proficient in API-based integration using JCI/REST
  • Understanding of risk management principles and safety-critical development environments


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with data migration from legacy systems into JAMA
  • Familiarity with medical device regulations and industry standards (ISO 14971, IEC 62304)
  • Hands-on experience working with FMEA and related frameworks
