Tech Lead/Chicago/$160k

An industry leader in HCM technology is looking for a Tech Lead to join their growing team in downtown Chicago. They are working on an industry leading platform that helps companies manage their employment expenses. They are looking for an engineer with 6+ years of modern .NET development, the ability to build REST APIs, frontend experience with React and serverless architecture experience with AWS (Lambdas, EC2, RDS, App services, etc.)

This company is rapidly growing their headcount and user count and is looking for a true impact maker in this role. This position is fulltime and is hybrid in downtown Chicago.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of experience building applications with C#/.NET (recent .NET 8 is preferred)
• Strong skills building Restful APIs
• Frontend development with modern Typescript based frameworks (React preferred)
• Ability to write stored procedures and queries in SQL Server
• Cloud native application experience with AWS
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent STEM field

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to think outside the box

What You Will Be Doing
Tech Breakdown

• 20% Frontend development (JavaScript, React, Typescript)
• 80% Backend development (C#, .NET core, building new REST APIs, SQL)
