Job Description: We are looking for Junior network engineers to join our team and provide order management and technical support to our customers on various network related issues. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting SDWAN hardware and software systems, as well as diagnosing and resolving technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Job Requirements:
- Associate degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of communication technologies and networking technologies
- Knowledge of Project Management and best practices is advantageous
- 2+ years of experience in Tier 1, Tier 2 or helpdesk support, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of IP Core, VoIP, SDWAN, SNA and other advanced communication technologies
- Understanding of Managed router services (MRS) and Managed LAN (MLAN)
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- The ability to interact on the phone with the customers and their peers during the implementation and problem determination process
- Flexible, analytical mind, problem solver, good time management, and team player
- CCNA/CCNP certification is desirable
- Will be required to work in various shifts (Day and or Night) including holidays and weekends. Overtime as needed
