Position: IT Delivery Lead

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina | 1 day/week on-site, 4 days/week remote

Duration: 12-18 month contract

Type: W2 contract, paid hourly. No C2C, 1099, or third-party submissions will be accepted. Only direct W-2 candidates will be considered.

Pay Rate Range: W2 $78-86/hr

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Delivery Lead to support our Credit Administration and Infrastructure space within the Lending Technology Platform. The Delivery Lead will drive the successful execution of technology initiatives, ensuring alignment between business goals and IT delivery. This role will primarily focus on the Dual Risk Rating program, which is currently in progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives within the Credit Administration and Infrastructure domain following SAFe practices
  • Oversee program-level activities, including managing external partner dependencies and coordinating release, training, and engineering activities across 3-4 teams
  • Partner with business, product, and technology stakeholders to define scope, priorities, and delivery roadmaps
  • Manage delivery governance, reporting, and communication with stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve delivery risks, dependencies, and impediments
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC, compliance, and organizational delivery standards
  • Collaborate closely with Scrum Masters and technical leads to ensure smooth execution
  • Track progress, budgets, and key performance indicators for assigned programs


Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Delivery Lead managing large-scale programs within financial institutions in a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with business, product, and technology partners
  • Expertise in risk and issue management, proactively identifying, escalating, and resolving risks and impediments
  • Experience working across Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery models
  • Financial services knowledge, with exposure to commercial lending or credit platforms
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to lead cross-functional teams and foster collaboration


Preferred Qualifications
  • Large Financial Industry background strongly preferred
  • Experience in credit administration and working with SI partners
  • Familiarity with complex banking environments and regulatory compliance requirements
