BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated ETL Developer (with Microsoft SQL Server) for a REMOTE opportunity.

Position Title: ETL Developer (with Microsoft SQL Server)

Location: REMOTE

Anticipated Start Date: - ASAP

Expected Duration: 6+ Months RTH

Job Type: Contract and Remote ( PST Candidates preferred )

Pay Range: $60/hr-$64/hr.

Job Description:

Custom system implementation of a prenatal and newborn screening information system (SIS) to diagnose, treat, and track genetic diseases.

All states have a newborn blood test to screen certain diseases, and this is implementing a more thorough and comprehensive system for CA.

Must Have Skills:

• Writing complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures, Views, and Triggers using T-SQL


• Expert in implementing ETL solution using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Data Lake and Azure Data Factory


• Experience in implementing complex data migration projects, migrating millions of records from different sources.


• Good to have SQL integration services using Azure Synapse


• Working experience in RDBMS skills and Database Design, Normalize and De-normalize techniques.


• Data Modeling using tools like ER-Win


• DB Build Automation using DevOps and SQL Server Data Tools


• Azure SQL and DevOps 2019 experience


• Experience in using DevOps pipelines and Azure stack.


• Expert in writing SQL using PowerShell.


• Good to have SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) and Power BI experience.


• Database builds consolidation and deployment activities

Good to have Skills:

• Dynamics Dataverse and Power Platform experience


• SSRS and Power BI knowledge


• Managing large and complex database systems in on-prem data Centers


• Working experience on SQL Database Upgrade projects, migrating databases between data canters


• Familiarity with data analysis, data sciences and analytics


• Strong understanding of data integration issues (validation and cleaning), familiarity with complex data and structures


• Understanding of transformations and data Modeling


• Experience in Agile methodology.
