About the Role
We are seeking an entry-level Peripheral Operator to join our client’s data center operations team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in technology and operations within the insurance industry. You will work in a fast-paced environment supporting output processing and hardware operations, ensuring smooth production workflows and accurate document handling.

Job Description
As a Peripheral Operator, you will:
  • Operate computer peripheral equipment such as printers, finishing machines, material handling, or mail processing machines under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Perform basic machine jam resolution and operator-level service actions.
  • Prepare production control reports as directed by senior operators or supervisors.
  • Complete clerical tasks related to inventory and outgoing product control using automated or manual processes.
  • Use computer terminals or PCs to queue work, post information, and respond to console messages.
  • Assist with manual document assembly, postage application, and packaging as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to learn and develop knowledge of computer peripheral hardware.
  • Basic math skills to maintain product controls.
  • Strong communication skills for interaction with team members and managers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred
  • 1 year of experience in a data center or print center environment.
  • General working knowledge of computer peripheral hardware.
  • Problem-solving skills for handling equipment jams and production errors.
  • Ability to identify and escalate equipment or production issues.
  • Familiarity with inventory control and production processes.
