Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid 2 days onsite/week)
Interview: Must attend onsite interview
Vendor representative must be present during MS Teams interview
Candidate Requirement: Must be within 2 hours of Lansing, MI
- Provide strategic project oversight and accountability from initiation to closure
- Execute large-scale projects (6+ months, 20+ team members)
- Manage scope, budget, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with vendors and ensure contract oversight
- Lead long-term release planning and milestone tracking
- Conduct executive-level reporting and communication
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues
- Ensure project alignment with State of Michigan's SUITE and SE methodologies
- Collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups to ensure project success
- Evaluate technical requirements in coordination with IT infrastructure teams
