Job Details

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with OIPA V10 or V11, Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather and evaluate specifications for complex business requirements and processes, developing and preparing technical solutions and documents.
Review and interpret architectural and technical design documents to develop complex OIPA transactions and processes using best practice configuration techniques.
Monitor, analyze, and configure the OIPA Application to ensure optimal performance across various components such as WebLogic Web/App, Database, and Linux.
Design logical queries to facilitate calculations, reporting, and complex formulas.
Perform functional gap analysis, review design documentation, and participate in design reviews.
Research and correct defects, working with peers to identify standardization opportunities.
Lead other configurators during some phases of projects and production support.
Proficiency in XSLT and OIPA configuration.
Experience with REST services and proven ability to implement solutions.
Develop AsFile, Real-time, and Push integration services, researching and evaluating system capabilities for integrating product, service, and technical solutions.
Support complex deployments and migrations, proactively assessing short/long-term design implications for the overall OIPA ecosystem.
Identify, recommend, and implement standardization and consolidation opportunities across the organization.
Work closely with internal OIPA Configuration teams as well as Oracle Development team to manage OIPA issues, requests, and incidents.
Develop Technical Design Documents, perform code reviews, and ensure project artifacts are maintained daily for timely decision-making.
Utilize comprehensive working knowledge of database concepts, SQL query building, and optimization.
Configure DI-Queue setup and troubleshoot issues with JMS messaging using WebLogic or WebSphere.
Stay updated with OIPA Cycle and DI monitoring and troubleshooting.
Required Experience:
hands-on configuration experience on life or health products using OIPA V10 or V11.
Practical working knowledge of insurance life and health products for individual, group, and worksite markets.
LOMA certification and knowledge of typical insurance business functions including underwriting, policy issuance, payment processing, etc.
Working knowledge of Oracle SOA and BPM is desired.
Experience with OIPA database and application design, configuration, or upgrade.
Expertise in entity-based logical modeling and data throughput optimization.
