Job Description:
Position: ETL Developer
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)
Duration: Long-term contract position
Client: Direct Client
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in computer sciences, information systems, engineering, business management or other related technical area with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience).
- 5+ years of proven experience in the design, development and implementation of ETL processes for Data Warehousing, Data Migration projects using SAP Data Services.
- 5-8 years writing SQL
- 5-8 years writing Oracle PL SQL
- 3-6 years of experience working in an Enterprise Data Warehouse environment
- 3-6 years of experience working with relational and dimensional data models
- 3+ years of experience with Data Services setup, installation, and configuration
- 1-3 years of government contracting experience
- 2+ years working in an Agile environment
- Solid understanding of ETL best practices
- Experience gathering and refining requirements, interviewing business users to understand and document data requirements.
- Attention to detail and highly organized.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts to customers in a clear and concise manner.
- Resourceful and creative in solving problems and overcoming obstacles.
- Must be a well-motivated team player.
