Job Details

The Electrical Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, integrating, and installing electrical subsystems on small robots and ground-based vehicles under the guidance of senior engineers. Key duties include developing electrical system topologies and harness designs, programming and testing embedded modules, troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with design and safety standards. The role requires hands-on experience with electrical wiring, CAN bus analysis, and use of standard test equipment.

Mandatory Skills & Proficiencies:

  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5-7 years experience in electronics systems integration, testing, and troubleshooting

  • Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, protocol analyzers, power supplies)

  • Experience with CAD/circuit design tools

  • Knowledge of harness design and IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards

  • Familiarity with CAN bus and embedded module programming

  • Ability to build, test, and troubleshoot wiring harnesses and electronic modules

  • Basic mechanical assembly knowledge and proficiency with hand tools

  • Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
