Network and Cloud Engineer

Job Title: Senior Network & Cloud Engineer Location: Los Angeles, CA Duration: Contract

RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, implement, and automate network configurations for Palo Alto firewalls and Azure networking.
Contribute to the development and integration of CI/CD pipelines for network automation, working closely with DevOps and cloud teams.
Coordinate and oversee network system updates, patches, and configuration changes.
Provide technical leadership for US office network infrastructure and connectivity.
Manage Palo Alto Panorama and Prisma Cloud environments
Oversee network updates, patches, and configuration changes with minimal downtime.
Implement monitoring and observability solutions for complex networks, including telemetry streaming
Act as escalation point for critical network issues and incident resolution.
Document processes for continuous service improvement and operational excellence.
Stay current with emerging technologies and automation tools to improve network agility and security.
Manage and optimize Meraki networks for US offices, including wireless, switching

QUALIFICATION PROFILE
BSc Information Technology or equivalent
In-depth technical knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls, Prisma Cloud and Panorama, Azure Networking, Network systems and architectures.
Expert in creating business case, use cases, storytelling and driving change
Strong background in network automation using tools like Ansible, Terraform or similar
A problem solver as well as innovator, who looks for ideas and innovative solutions through analytics and automation.
Advanced troubleshooting and network analysis skills.
Able to work independently and collaboratively, and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Monitoring techniques for complex networks, telemetry streaming
Maritime or Aerospace industry experience would be a plus
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCPA, CCIE, PCNSE, AZ-700, or equivalent highly desirable.
