As an Oracle Workflow developer, you will be tasked with designing, developing, and implementing workflow solutions that optimize business processes and enhance the functionality of Oracle applications. Your role will require you to leverage your expertise in Oracle's Application Express (APEX) to create custom applications and user interfaces that are both efficient and user-friendly. Additionally, your proficiency in Oracle Approvals Management Engine (AME) will be crucial for setting up complex approval hierarchies and transaction controls, ensuring that business rules are accurately reflected in workflow processes. Your success in this role will be facilitated by a strong foundation in Oracle development tools and methodologies. Familiarity with PL/SQL programming, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports will be beneficial, as these tools often integrate with workflow solutions. Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite will also serve you well, as you will be expected to understand the intricacies of its modules and how they can be enhanced through customized workflows. Knowledge of database design, performance tuning, and troubleshooting will further empower you to deliver robust and scalable workflow applications. To excel as an Oracle Workflow developer, you should bring a track record of successful project delivery within the Oracle ecosystem. Prior experience with version control systems and continuous integration tools will help you manage code and collaborate effectively with team members. Your ability to analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and then execute on those specifications will be key to your role. A proactive approach to staying abreast of the latest Oracle technologies and workflow trends will ensure that the solutions you develop are not only effective today but also sustainable and adaptable for the future.

Responsibilities include:
  • Develop and maintain Oracle Workflow processes
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and design solutions
  • Implement and customize APEX and AME modules
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Workflow
  • Provide technical support and training to end users
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Oracle Workflow and related technologies

Here's What You Need:
  • 8 plus years of overall experience designing, developing and implementing workflow solutions or 6 overall and 2 years of Apex Workflow. Oracle Approvals Management Engine (AME) Oracle Dev Tools and Methodologies PL/SQL Programming Oracle E-Business Suite

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
