Job Details

Our client is seeking a highly experienced engineer to help elevate the end-user technology experience across a large-scale, globally distributed enterprise. As a key member of the IT Engineering team, you ll be responsible for optimizing device performance and user experience across a diverse fleet, including Windows, macOS, tablets, and smartphones. You'll work within a sophisticated ecosystem leveraging Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM), Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Apple Business Manager (ABM), and Apple Device Enrollment (ADE), along with leading hardware platforms like Microsoft, Dell, and Apple.

They're looking for a strategic and technical expert who thrives in cross-functional environments and is experienced in delivering modern IT solutions at scale.

Project Experience Required:

  • Led enterprise-scale Windows 11 upgrade initiatives using Microsoft Intune, including strategy, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Designed and managed scalable OS patching frameworks through Intune with strong compliance and automation capabilities.
  • Created and deployed advanced device profiles (e.g., kiosk mode) via Intune AutoPilot to serve global, diverse use cases.
  • Built and maintained dashboards with Azure Monitor and Microsoft Graph to support IT operations and align with CSI/ITSM processes.
  • Drove migration from legacy MECM and Active Directory Group Policy configurations to Intune, implementing compliance policies, standardization, and global reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage endpoint solutions across PCs, MacBooks, tablets, and smartphones.
  • Utilize enterprise tools like Microsoft Intune, MECM, MDT, and Apple ABM/ADE to deliver and manage device strategies.
  • Engineer application implementations and provide ongoing support using enterprise endpoint management platforms.
  • Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, including SOPs and architecture diagrams.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Service Desk, Tier 2 teams, and Cyber Security to ensure seamless solution delivery.
  • Analyze user needs and align technology solutions with business objectives.
  • Manage application packaging and repackaging efforts, including reverse engineering where necessary.
  • Support virtual desktop environments such as Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365.
  • Implement enterprise-grade security solutions including EPM, PAS, PIM, and RBAC.
  • Participate in M&A activity, assisting with both carve-outs and integrations in collaboration with external partners.
  • Manage incidents and proactively identify and resolve issues within the global IT landscape.
  • Stay informed on emerging tools and standards to continuously improve technical environments.
  • Provide 24/7 support availability for high-priority enterprise issues.
  • Ensure solutions comply with internal governance and security policies.

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise end-user technologies, particularly with Microsoft and Dell.
  • Expert-level proficiency with Microsoft Intune, MECM, MDT, Apple ABM/ADE.
  • Strong background in Tier 3 engineering, focused on scalable enterprise technology solutions.
  • Advanced technical documentation and architecture skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze and solve complex technical problems.
  • Deep understanding of end-user needs and the ability to deliver technology that meets business requirements.
  • Skilled in application packaging and reverse engineering.
  • Experience supporting virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions such as Windows 365 and AVD.
  • Familiarity with enterprise identity and access controls (EPM, PAS, PIM, RBAC).
  • Experience supporting IT during M&A activities.
  • Willingness to support a global operation, including 24/7 on-call availability.
  • Scripting and automation experience, particularly with PowerShell.
  • Solid grasp of cybersecurity practices and policies.

Salary: $90,000- $130,000 per year ( depends on experience level)
