Job Details

Title: Technical Writer

Location: Canada

Key Responsibilities:

Create, edit, and maintain high-quality documentation for internal and external audiences, including: System architecture overviews

API documentation

User guides and onboarding materials

Compliance and regulatory process documentation

Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and business analysts to translate technical concepts into clear, concise documentation.

Document workflows and data flows related to corporate actions processing and collateral lifecycle management.

Maintain documentation repositories and ensure version control and accessibility.

Contribute to the development of knowledge bases and training materials for new platform features and services.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in financial services or fintech.

Strong understanding of capital markets infrastructure, including corporate actions, collateral management, and post-trade processing.

Familiarity with blockchain concepts, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and microservice architectures.

Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in documentation tools such as Confluence, Markdown, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience documenting APIs and developer-facing tools.

Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in financial services.

Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and data analytics platforms like Snowflake.
