Job Title: DevOps Engineer (Terraform & Cloud Infrastructure)

Location & Employment Type

Location: Reston, VA
Work Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Employment Type: Full-time (Open to H1B transfer)

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong experience in Terraform and modern cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, automating, and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC), enabling seamless deployment pipelines, and supporting scalable, secure cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and testing.
Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
Implement configuration management and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent).
Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, and cost optimization.
Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to support application releases.
Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues in production and staging environments.
Participate in on-call rotations and contribute to system reliability and uptime.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience with Terraform (modules, state management, workspaces).
Hands-on expertise with AWS (preferred) or other cloud platforms (Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar).
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/AKS/GKE).
Familiarity with Linux administration, networking, and security best practices.
Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Groovy for automation.
Knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, etc.).

Education & Experience

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
8+ years of DevOps/Cloud engineering experience with at least 3-4 years in Terraform.
