Job Details
Position: IT Support Specialist
Location: Princeton, NJ (Onsite)
Start Date: ASAP
Must Haves:
- 5+ years of experience providing hands-on software and hardware support for Windows and Mac OS
- Experience supporting Android and Apple mobile devices, printers, and copiers
- Experience providing AV support across a variety of technologies
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting a wide variety of technology issues
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint), printing, and networking
- Experience using device management systems, such as Jamf or Intune.
- Understanding of IT asset management fundamentals
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs
Strong Preference
- Experience with ServiceNow, Bomgar and CrashPlan
- Experience supporting systems integrated with Active Directory or Entra ID
- Strong understanding of IT security best practices in computing
- Previous experience working in higher education
- Apple or A+ certified
- Previous experience as a Mac Genius.
Required Education: At least a Bachelor s Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems or closely related field is required.
