What You Will Do :

As a PeopleSoft HCM - Lead Business Analyst, you will help lead the requirements elicitation, analysis, fit/gap, design, testing and implementation of major enhancements and operations & maintenance of PeopleSoft HCM system in production. This includes development and maintenance of interfaces, reports, conversions, and other technical aspects of the PeopleSoft application.

You will help lead our clients and the project team through a structured process to analyze, design, test, and deploy the solutions per client requirements. Define and execute on a robust plan to ensure all client requirements are met, while leading the team to continuously innovate and streamline the application functionality and data quality assurance/testing process. Our professionals help our clients transform their business processes, improve internal controls, improve efficiency of operations, increase transparency and performance management, and to comply with Federal laws and regulations. The nature of our projects is extremely fluid and requires self-motivated individuals willing to architect and develop solutions on their own or in a team of highly skilled professionals. Project members are provided the opportunity to interact with our clients' senior management, as well as the opportunity to enhance their skills in the areas of technical competency, business development, client service and people development

What You Will Need :

  • The successful candidate will have proven experience working with business process owners for requirements elicitation, functional design, testing and deployment based on PeopleSoft HCM for commercial entities and Federal agencies
  • 5+ years of PeopleSoft HCM business processes, enhancements, operations & maintenance, testing and deployment experience
  • 7+ years of overall experience in systems requirements, design, testing, deployment and production support of applications or systems
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with PeopleTools 8.55 or above
  • Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2
  • Experience in drafting requirement, fit/gap, functional design specifications and test plans for application modifications, enhancements, or customizations
  • Strong knowledge of process improvements, process documentation, business and gap analysis, communications, and change management
  • Experience investigating complex strategic business issues, researching and identifying inventive solutions
  • Experience with PeopleTools, including Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Packages, Component Interfaces, SQR, and Query
  • Experience with writing complex SQL statements and designing custom modules
  • Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner both oral and written documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong focus on customer service and take solution ownership
  • Experience working in an Agile environment


What Would Be Nice To Have :
  • Experience working and delivering for in Federal Government clients
  • Experience utilizing an issue tracking software such as JIRA and ServiceNow
  • Ability and interest to learn new processes, tools and technologies including Web 2.0 and other COTS applications
  • Compensation may vary based on education, skills, experience, and location
  • This is an exempt level role that may require more than 40 hours of work per week.

  • Selected Candidate must be able to work Eastern Standard Hours


The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
