Job Title: Major Incident Manager
Location: Urbana, MD
Work Schedule: Full-time
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in IT Service Management or Operations Center roles, with a minimum of 7 years in a major incident or similar leadership position.
- Deep understanding of ITSM frameworks including ITIL, COBIT, and their practical application in incident, problem, and availability management.
- Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale incidents in a complex IT environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong technical understanding of IT Infrastructure, systems, and architectures.
- Proven experience working with and managing Tier 1 third-party suppliers during incidents.
- Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with experience in using performance data and KPIs for service improvements.
