Network Engineer (Bilingual – Japanese/English)

We are seeking a bilingual (Japanese/English) Network Engineer who can act as a communication bridge between business departments and technical teams within a large-scale factory environment. The engineer will gather requirements from non-technical departments, translate them into network design specifications, coordinate with construction vendors, and support network maintenance and troubleshooting activities.

· Conduct requirement hearings with factory equipment or production departments and translate their operational needs into detailed network design specifications.

· Coordinate with construction and installation vendors to ensure network implementation is executed according to plan.

· Collaborate closely with the internal network team responsible for build-out and configuration.

· Perform maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the factory network environment.

· Provide bilingual documentation, reporting, and communication with stakeholders in Japan and the U.S.

· Hands-on experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance.

· Strong understanding of VLAN, routing, switching, and TCP/IP fundamentals.

· Experience coordinating with business departments, vendors, and internal IT teams.

· Excellent communication skills in both Japanese and English (verbal and written).

· Ability to proactively identify issues and work collaboratively toward resolution.

· Experience in factory or industrial network environments.

· Cisco certification (CCNA/CCNP or equivalent).

· Familiarity with SCADA, MES, or OT/IT integration.

· Experience working in multinational or global project environments.
