Job Details

Title: Salesforce CPQ Developer

Job Type: Contract

Location: 100% Remote

What you ll do:

  • Develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce CPQ solutions, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components and Flows.
  • Design and implement complex CPQ configurations, including product bundles, pricing rules, discount schedules, and approval processes.
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce CPQ functionality.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce CPQ features and enhancements.
  • Design and build robust migration tools within Salesforce.
  • Proactively identify and address unique scenarios and edge cases during tool development to ensure its resilience and effectiveness.
  • Develop highly efficient and optimized code for all solutions, including migration tools.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience developing with Apex and LWC/Aura Components in agile environments.
  • Experience integrating Salesforce CPQ with other systems (ERP, billing) via REST/SOAP API or middleware.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork.
  • Creative problem-solver with a knack for innovative solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce security models for secure application development.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II, with bonus for CPQ Specialist.
  • Deep understanding of CI/CD practices for Salesforce, including Git and Copado.
  • Experience with unit testing (Apex Test Classes), system testing, and automated testing tools.

Bonus Points:

  • Understanding of how Sales data impacts financial systems like Order Management, Billing and Revenue.
  • Understanding of Lead to Cash processes from an end-to-end perspective.
  • Understanding of Salesforce Revenue Cloud or expertise in Revenue Lifecycle Management.
