Description

We are looking for a skilled Test Engineer to oversee product testing and ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions. This role involves identifying and resolving technical issues, developing test plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize product performance. This is a Long-term Contract position based in Lynnwood, WA.

  • Operate and maintain HALT/HASS chambers and related test equipment.
  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures based on product requirements and reliability goals.
  • Design and document test cases to simulate real-world and accelerated stress conditions.
  • Analyze test data, identify failure modes, and provide recommendations for design improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and manufacturing to resolve issues.
  • Prepare detailed test reports and present findings to engineering and management teams.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal quality processes.


Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in reliability or environmental testing, with direct HALT/HASS experience.
  • Strong understanding of test methodologies, failure analysis, and root cause investigation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, JMP).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with thermal, vibration, and combined environmental stress testing.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., MIL-STD, IEC, ISO).
  • Knowledge of reliability prediction tools and techniques (e.g., FMEA, Weibull analysis).
