Job Description

Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in a software Development in Test role, with experience testing Unity or Unreal Engine
Solid Unreal Engine knowledge, specifically with C++ and Blueprints
Proficient in C++ particularly Modern C++ (C++11)
Proficient in Python
Demonstrated experience designing automated test processes around bug life cycle, and automating manual test cases
Interested in solving testing challenges in graphics and multi-user behaviors
Data-driven and able to use quantitative evidence to support your solutions
Collaboration and strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
Experience developing test automation for extended or mixed reality (XR, VR, AR) applications
Experience developing test automation for mobile devices, especially Android
Experience in AEC and CAD software such as Revit or Navisworks
Ideas around testing games and other applications without traditional user interfaces
Experience developing automated testing for web/cloud-based solutions

Client XR team is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join our multi-disciplinary AR/VR (XR) team responsible for building and delivering XR workflows to the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Industry (AEC).

As part of our team, you'll help us improve our ability to verify the quality of our products and services while keeping up with latest trends in software development testing. You will be responsible for developing testing strategies and tools throughout the stack. You will help educate and train team members on the latest tools and techniques in automated testing.

Responsibilities
Partner with our QA Engineers to automate manual test plans
Partner with our development team to increase unit and automated testing throughout the development cycle
Collaborate with our Product Management team to understand functional requirements
Write and maintain automated test strategies and test plans
Script automated tests across the software stack
Create documentation to track issues and solutions and maintain test runs
Report on product quality and performance metrics to product development team
Guide and share knowledge with the team on the testing framework
