SDET - Tampa or Jersey City

Position: SDET

Location: Tampa, FL or Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid, 3 days onsite)

Duration: CTH

Primary Responsibilities:
* Prepare, maintain, and execute test cases based on user stories; present results and track defects to closure
* Prepare, maintain, and execute automated test scripts
* Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts
* Review test cases / automation approach with stakeholder to ensure comprehensive coverage and acquire feedback
* Track test execution breakthroughs, report on issues and risks with the potential to affect project timelines
* Construct appropriate end-2-end business scenarios through the application of a broad understanding of business objectives and goals
* Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues.
* Identify dependencies for environmental and data requirements; manage and maintain environment and data.
* Provide mentorship to colleagues related to test coverage and test cases
* Develop a detailed understanding of the product being delivered
* Responsible for process compliance & associated documentation
* Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk; calls out appropriately

Qualifications:
* Minimum of 3 years of related experience
* Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience

Talents Needed for Success:
* Experience in Selenium Java with good hands on experience
* Extensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components.
* Experience in writing sophisticated SQL queries.
* Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins
* Experienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination
* In depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle (specifically the testing model, methodology, and processes),
* Experience with front-end & backend testing using Java and Selenium.
* Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins
* Detailed understanding of smoke testing, black-box, and non-black box testing, as well as regression testing
* Requires the ability to work well with both business clients and technical team and the ability to work independently, both individually and as part of a team.
* Preferably from Capital Market domain
