Job Title: Senior Consultant Mainframe Cyber Resilience & Encryption / Mainframe Cybersecurity Consultant
Duration: 2+ Months (Possible Extension)
Location: Remote (EST)
Job Description:
The required expertise spans CyberVault, Cyber Incident Resilience & Recovery, and Mainframe Encryption workstreams all with the objective of strengthening the client s mainframe environment.
Scope of Deliverables
- Cyber-Vaulting Risk Assessment & Remediation Guidance
- Vendor-agnostic review of current cyber-vaulting capability
- Define risks and conduct peer comparison (positioning vs. industry peers)
- Define solution options, costs, and benefits
- Mainframe Encryption Status Assessment & Strategic Guidance
- Review and document current capabilities
- Peer review (industry practices and benchmarks)
- Regulatory review (compliance with current and upcoming regulations)
- Assessment across multiple dimensions in-motion/at-rest, system, database, etc.
- Propose strategy to achieve best-in-class maturity with pros/cons, effort, and costs
- Provide stakeholder-ready material for direct response on status and capability
- Mainframe Cyber Resiliency Assessment & Strategic Guidance
- Incorporates deliverables from #1 and #2, plus any additional cyber-related observations
Engagement Details
- Start date: October 1
- Duration: 8 weeks
- Resource requirement: 4 Senior consultants
- Profile: Specific Domain specialists with Good mainframe exposure
