Required Skills and Experience:
  • Deep Understanding of EPIC:
    1. Experience with EPIC Orders, ClinDoc, and Stork applications.
    2. Certification in EPIC, especially in related modules.
  • Clinical Knowledge:
    1. Understanding of clinical workflows and processes.
    2. Experience in a healthcare setting is often required.
  • Analytical Skills:

Epic Grand Central Consultant:
Skills and Qualifications:

Epic Billing Consultant:
Key Responsibilities of an Epic Billing Consultant:
  • Implementation Support:
Assist with the implementation of Epic's Resolute billing module, ensuring it aligns with the client's specific needs and workflows.
  • System Optimization:
Continuously improve and optimize the Epic system to enhance billing processes, including data integrity and claims processing.
  • Training and Support:
Provide training and support to users on the use of Epic's billing module, addressing their questions and resolving issues.
  • Problem Solving:
Diagnose and resolve problems related to billing, coding, and claims processing within the Epic system.
  • Collaboration:
Collaborate with other Epic consultants, IT staff, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and workflow.

Thoroughly testing and validating configured applications and ensuring they meet functional and technical requirements.
  • Go-Live and Rollout Support:
Defining go-live plans, providing support during the go-live process, and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Client Collaboration and Communication:
Working directly with Epic end-users, project leadership, and IT teams to understand requirements, provide guidance, and facilitate implementation.
  • Documentation and Optimization:
Creating and maintaining application documentation, identifying areas for optimization, and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Technical Skills:
Proficiency in areas like DICOM, HL7, and other health-related standards.

Analyze current workflows and design system solutions to optimize perioperative and anesthesia processes.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to OpTime and Anesthesia applications.
  • User Training and Support:
Provide training and ongoing support to end-users on the use of OpTime and Anesthesia modules.
  • System Upgrades:
Participate in system upgrades and ensure a smooth transition for users.
