Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AEM Lead with strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Workfront workflow integration, Fusion, and Adobe Experience Cloud to drive digital experience delivery for our banking platforms. The ideal candidate will lead AEM solution design, development, integration, and optimization across multi-site environments while ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant implementations for regulated banking operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end AEM solution design, development, testing, deployment, and performance optimization for customer-facing banking applications.
  • Architect and implement Workfront + AEM workflow integration and automation through Fusion to streamline content operations and digital project delivery.
  • Collaborate with business, UX, analytics, and content teams to translate requirements into scalable AEM components, templates, workflows, and digital experiences.
  • Work closely with Adobe Analytics/Target teams to define data layers, tagging requirements, content targeting needs, and optimization strategies.
  • Ensure secure development practices, data privacy, and governance standards aligned with banking policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Oversee code reviews, performance tuning, debugging, and maintenance across AEM environments (Author, Publish, Dispatcher).
  • Work with cross-functional teams to support release management, change control, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Guide AEM developers, content authors, and analysts in best practices, component usage, tagging standards, and workflow improvements.
  • Integrate AEM with Adobe Launch, Adobe Target, Workfront, CRM systems, and internal banking applications for unified customer experience delivery.
  • Document technical designs, process flows, deployment steps, and operational procedures.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and quality standards to enhance platform reliability and user experience.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 8 12+ years of experience in AEM development, with at least 4 years in a lead or architect role.
  • Hands-on experience with AEM Sites, Assets, Workfront, Fusion, and workflow automation.
  • Strong understanding of Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, and Adobe Target for tagging, personalization, and experimentation.
  • Experience designing scalable AEM architectures, components, templates, OSGi services, Sling models, and servlet-based integrations.
  • Strong front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive UI development, and accessibility for financial applications.
  • Experience managing multi-site structures, content governance, and localization within AEM environments.
  • Solid understanding of CRO, segmentation, analytics tracking, and data integrity for digital banking platforms.
  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and user-experience design judgment.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum, collaborating with product owners, QA, DevOps, UX, and analytics teams.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams and engage with business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the banking or financial services domain with understanding of compliance, security, and customer data handling.
  • Exposure to cloud-based AEM implementations (AEMaaCS).
  • Adobe certifications (AEM Architect/Developer, Adobe Analytics/Target preferred).
