We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Lead Software Developer. While the role will eventually be hybrid, with flexibility in work arrangements, the initial work location will be in our Tarpon Springs office.

As the sole developer on the team, the ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the development of internal applications, with the potential to expand into external-facing applications in the future. We envision this individual growing into a management role over time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead software developer, engaging in hands-on development of applications and collaborating closely with business leaders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

  • Participate in the entire lifecycle of application development, including design, coding, testing, implementation, deployment, and ongoing support and maintenance.

  • Manage the complete software development process from conception to deployment.

  • Work closely with business leaders to analyze workflows and develop applications that meet organizational needs.

  • Troubleshoot complex application issues that cannot be resolved by the helpdesk.

  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to manage, maintain, and support applications.

  • Contribute to initiatives for continuous process improvement and adhere to best practices.

  • Develop project plans and schedules for application projects.

  • Ensure the team produces documents, diagrams, workflows, and related items for the benefit of future users.

  • Collaborate with vendors, analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications to identify potential problem areas and make appropriate recommendations.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of .NET development experience (VB or C#).

  • 5+ years of experience with SQL (preferably MS SQL).

  • 3+ years of experience developing WPF applications.

  • Experience with NextGen EHR and Practice Management is preferred.

  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving, investigative, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft operating systems.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with business users.

  • Highly organized with the capability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, exercising discretion and independent judgment.

If you are excited about this opportunity and meet the qualifications, we encourage you to apply and join us on this rewarding journey.
