JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Network Security Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation and support of network security solutions for the organization. In collaboration with members of the System Architects, Systems Administration, Database Administration, Network Administration and Application Support teams, the Senior Network Security Engineer will implement practical solutions to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Health Systems and Information.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Security and Assurance, or closely related field, or comparable education and experience typically obtained by five or more related work experience.
Five (5) years' experience working with Firewall/IPS technologies such as: Cisco ASA, and Cisco IPS Firepower or comparable technology.
Five (5) years' strong knowledge of Networking, QOS, IPv4, AD, Network Security, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, Spanning Tree, TACACS+, SSH, TCP/UDP/IP, DNS, IP Management, Radius, DHCP
Five (5) years' strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Five (5) years' strong understanding of Remote Access technology- IPSec, SSL VPN.
Understands Access and Identity Management solutions such as Active Directory services.
Experience working with the following: Vulnerability Scanning, SIEM, and WAF.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
Excellent project and time management skills
Ability to function independently and as a team to implement the best practices in the area of information security infrastructure.
