Our Challenge:
We are seeking a skilled Streamlit Developer to design, develop, and optimize interactive data applications within the banking sector. The ideal candidate will have expertise in building user-friendly dashboards and data visualization tools using Streamlit, with a strong understanding of banking operations, financial data, and regulatory compliance.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York, NY is $120k - $140k/year & benefits (see below).
Work location: New York City, NY (Hybrid, 3 days in a week)

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy interactive web applications using Streamlit to visualize large-scale banking and financial data.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional dashboards and tools.
- Integrate Streamlit interfaces with backend data sources, APIs, and databases such as SQL, Hadoop, or cloud platforms.
- Optimize application performance for responsiveness and scalability.
- Ensure security, data privacy, and compliance standards are maintained in all applications.
- Maintain and improve existing Streamlit applications, troubleshooting issues and implementing enhancements.
- Document application functionalities, data flow, and deployment processes.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in data visualization, Streamlit capabilities, and banking domain regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Overall 8+ years of IT experience is required
- Proven experience developing with Streamlit in a professional environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, including data manipulation and visualization libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Plotly, etc.).
- Experience working with banking or financial datasets.
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, APIs, and data integration techniques.
- Knowledge of banking processes, financial metrics, and regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of web development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Knowledge of data security standards such as GDPR, PCI DSS.
- Prior experience working in a banking or financial institution.
