Job Summary
The Box ECM (Enterprise Content Management) Specialist will be responsible for leading the strategic deployment, optimization, and support of the Box platform across the State Corporation Commission (SCC). This role will focus on maximizing the utility of Box for secure document management, collaboration, digital workflows, and electronic signature capabilities. The Specialist will act as the subject matter expert on Box, enabling users, advising stakeholders on best practices, and supporting technical integration with other enterprise tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration, deployment, and governance of Box ECM capabilities including secure storage, sharing, and retention policies.
- Develop and promote best practices, usage guidelines, and training for SCC teams to ensure optimal platform adoption.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify use cases and design Box-based solutions to streamline document workflows and approvals.
- Support Box integrations with third-party tools such as Microsoft 365, DocuSign, and other enterprise platforms.
- Manage permissions, user roles, and content lifecycle to ensure secure and compliant access to information.
- Troubleshoot user and system issues and coordinate with Box support as needed.
- Stay up to date on Box feature updates and roadmap, proactively recommending enhancements.
- Serve as a liaison between IT and business units to gather requirements and deliver tailored Box solutions.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3 5 years of experience with enterprise content management systems, preferably Box.
- Strong understanding of digital collaboration, file security, and cloud content management.
- Experience with Box administration, folder structures, user permissions, and policies.
- Familiarity with Box APIs and integration tools (e.g., Box Relay, Box Sign, Microsoft Power Automate).
- Excellent communication and training skills with a user-centric approach.
Preferred:
- Box Certified Professional or Administrator certification.
- Experience in government or highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of workflow automation and digital signature tools.
