Job Details

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced FIX Developer with strong expertise in Foreign Exchange (FX) systems to design, implement, and maintain pricing engine integrations using the Financial Information eXchange (FIX) protocol. This role involves building robust, low-latency connections with pricing engines and trading platforms to support real-time FX pricing, execution, and market data distribution. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement FIX solutions for FX price distribution engines. Develop backend solutions using Java (or C++) for low-latency trading systems, including parsing FIX messages and transforming data formats. Monitor message flows in real-time, analyze FIX logs for errors, and resolve connectivity incidents promptly. Collaborate with project teams and vendors to integrate and configure FIX sessions. Produce functional FIX specifications, integration designs, workflows, and operational runbooks. Develop audit and logging capabilities for troubleshooting and compliance. Provide production support and incident resolution for pricing and execution-related issues. Required Qualifications Deep understanding of FIX protocol (versions such as FIX 4.2 and 5.0). Proficiency in backend development using Java or C++. Strong SQL skills with experience in Oracle or SQL Server environments. In-depth knowledge of FX market structure, pricing, and order management. Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, Stunnel, MPLS). Minimum 7+ years of technology experience in financial services (buy-side, sell-side, or trading vendors). Preferred Qualifications Experience with FIX engines such as QuickFIX or similar. FIX Protocol certification/connectivity experience. Knowledge of XML, real-time messaging, and messaging protocols (AMQP, MQTT, Kafka). Ability to lead technical discussions with partners and stakeholders.
